Finca La Roseta
From late 1990s, the Finca La Roseta was a well-known arts centre, offering dance and theatre workshops and housing Gomerian artists. Eventually the club cultural, offside the road between Alajeró and Playa Santiago, was abandoned and the property seemed to be forgotten; nature reconquered the amphitheatre. Until finally the owners decided to kiss the Sleeping Beauty back alive and converted the uniquely situated subsidiary building into a holiday home.
This cosy casa rural lies in the south of La Gomera, a sun-blessed spot year-round. From the terrace with jacuzzi you enjoy a view over the centuries-old terraced landscape – breathtaking the wide blue surface of the ocean. Hawks circling above, the wind blowing softly, a billy goat is watching us attentively, on the edge of the sight the small plane of Binter visits La Gomera four times a day from Tenerife and Gran Canaria. Silence.
From the main road a well traversable gravel road is leading to the house (300 m). Playa Santiago and the beaches, some of the best restaurants of the island and the golf court are at only 5 km distance.
