What a magical place! I loved it. La Gomera is such an odd and eccentric place, defiantly thrusting itself up and declaring itself rockily and higgledy-piggedly. And Valle de Rey is just the same. And Casa Tigot, too. All magical and unforgettable and must-be-returned to. With hugely uplifted thanks.

Thank you so much for the chance to stay here in the beautiful Casa Tigot. I have been coming to La Gomera for many years and stayed in many places, but this one is the most beautiful of all. We have had the most wonderful time here, watching the play of light and shadow on the mountain opposite, watching the busy traffic of lizards across the garden wall every morning (they like bread, melon and papaya it seems!), watching the moon and stars wheel overhead each night… Thanks again. We will be back!

Thanks for the wonderful stay in your Casa Tigot. A lovely place we would like to join again. Hope that everyone will love the place as we do.

We are honored to be the second couple to stay in your lovely Casa Tigot! We had a wonderful time and much admired the design, fittings and details of your cottage – we really had everything we needed. And such interesting and well chosen books. We also worked hard at our Spanish, thanks to Michel Thomas. Although some CDs were missing – as was cassette no 1! We are both professional musicians and based in Edinburgh. Uli practiced the violin in the kitchen and I particularly appreciated the study where an hour or two a day was spent learning a large orchestral score. Thank you so much. We should love to return. And please come and visit us if you happen to be in Scotland.
Very best wishes

– Peter and Uli

Thank you for the two weeks we could stay in your little house. We were on the way every day: walking, hiking, getting to know the island (our highlights were El Eremito Ernesto, the lost airport, the natural swimming pool in Hermigua, Fortaleza, the tunnel to El Cedro and Los Chorros de Epina). Every evening we were looking forward to return to the house and terrace to watch the geckos and to enjoy the evening. We didn’t have the joy to meet the house mouse but we met the kitchen gecko and the bedroom lizard.

What a peaceful and calm place! This house is exactly what I need after half a year of full work. I feel really good after 13 days in Casa Tigot. I enjoy all the nice details in the house and garden. And like your music very much. Sure, ~I will come back.

The woods of Gomera have their secrets, so does your beautiful house. You can hear, smell the breath of the ancestors and lively souls, singing and dancing. We liked it very much. Thank you for the spirit.

– Knut

Dear Tabea,
Just to say that we are now home from our holiday at Casa Muna and Casa Tigot. We loved both houses and it was a pleasure to meet Paul, who was very helpful. It was the first time we’ve been to La Gomera and we intend to go back. It’s a beautiful island with so much to offer. We loved exploring by car and also just being on the beach or relaxing at one of the lovely properties. Thank you.
Kind regards,

– Sue and Bernard
