Casa Alta A

Casa Alta is a detached house in Lomo del Moral, a hilly quar­ter with steps and walk­ways at the west­ern slope of Valle Gran Rey, between Reta­mal and Los Grana­dos. The house is sit­u­at­ed very qui­et­ly: if at all you can hear the wind blow­ing over the knoll at the back of the house. From here you enjoy a tru­ly dra­mat­ic view over the whole Val­ley of the Great King, to Guadá and to the sea.

The rooftop stu­dio for two peo­ple, called Áti­co (Alta A), offers an ample liv­ing- and sleep­ing area with kitch­enette, a roofed and glazed veran­da, as well as a sun ter­race. Lov­ing­ly fur­nished and dec­o­rat­ed and with paint­ings of the land­la­dy (an artist), the ambiance is both styl­ish and cosy. The flat down­stairs (Alta B) is used by the own­ers from time to time ; rest of the year it is let to guests. Both flats have seper­ate entrances, but there is a small patio with stairs con­nect­ing the two flats (where the wash­ing machine is sit­u­at­ed), so it is a great place for a small group or a fam­i­ly with elder kids.
A walk­way with 76 steps is lead­ing to the house. At the street (at the foot of the walk­way) there is a small gro­cery and pub­lic parking.
